Lindahl Aluminum also manufactures attractive privacy screens which effectively block any unwanted views such as other buildings or unsightly landscaping. As well, the screens will also block traffic noise and/or wind.
The screens can be built up to 6’ high and use tempered safety glass inserts or aluminum panels locked and welded together. The panes can also be spread apart at 0” to 4” openings between the panels. This will allow your deck to be private and still allow you to look between the panels.
If glass panel inserts are your choice, you can choose your glass panels with a color, obscure glass or pattern glass. Only tempered safety glass is used in this application.
Laminate & specialty glass is also available.
Privacy screens can be used at one or both ends of your deck. Duplexes, apartments and condominiums use privacy screens to divide the units and provide privacy to each space. Homeowners generally place a privacy screen on the one end of the deck that is closest to their neighbor or street.
Privacy screens can also be used to conceal roof-top air heating or cooling units, garbage and recycling areas, gas meters, etc.
Privacy screens are lighter than wood and will not deteriorate or damage your deck structure by adding excessive weight on the structural walls or posts they are attached to.
We can also fabricate and paint an aluminum frame to accommodate your wood, plastic, or fabric inserts.
